During the second annual Association for College Psychiatry Meeting, certain business matters pertaining to the organization were finalized. The mission statement was finalized, the vision statement was drafted, and regional representatives were established.
The first meeting of the Association for College Psychiatry (AFCP) Occurred on May 19, 2017 in San Diego, California. The association was formed during this meeting in response to a group of psychiatrists in college mental health wishing to form a group that would allow for more advocacy for psychiatrists and college and university students.
